How does this toplist work?
It is pretty simple: the ranking is monthly and based on "clicks in" system. This means that
every time a visitor clicks on the button you should put in your site, you gain 1 point.
But the effective rank is made by an algorythm that calculates a sort of global average,
including information as "clicks in" and how long a site has been active in the list.
Do I need to put the button in the home page?
No, it is not necessary, you can put the button wherever you want in your site!
But obviously more the button is visible, more probability to climb the ranking you have!
ATTENTION: untill you don't have at least 1 vote, your site may not be displayed on the list!
I would prefer to put in my site a link instead of the button, can I?
Yes, you can, but is important you don't modify the link that brings to the list!
The link must go to http://www.photorama.it/toplist/ (please link the word PhotoblogsRank).
I've put the link on my page, but I'm always scoring 0 in the ranking, why?
-Perhaps the link address is incorrect (look at the FAQ above ;-)
-If the link is ok, maybe you subscribed the list a redirect address.
In this case, the system doesn't recognizes the the vote. The solution is to
correct your subscription address with your full address.
Are sometimes the scores resetted?
Yes! Every month the scores are resetted. In this way also newcomers have
the possibility to climb the ranks!
Is there a prize for the top sites of the months?
Yes: there'll be a special page where the top 10 of every month will be inserted.
I wrote a review about a site, but I can't see it in its stats page, why?
Reviews need administrator's approval before being shown.
